Key Account Manager
Location: Bucharest, Romania
Position purpose:
The purpose of this field-based position is to promote our portfolio for small animals to a selected number of customers, key veterinary practices and to provide scientific and technical support on the health, diagnostics, and disease control of their patients. This role contributes to the overall success of Zoetis in Romania by delivering results against sales growth & market share gain, for the designated portfolio. It also ensures our scientific resources and technical activities create and deliver unparalleled value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Is required to develop long-term partnerships with our key customers on the assigned territory, and to maintain these relationships with the appropriate quantity & quality of activity,
- Investigates customers need and delivers successful client support,
- Suggest innovative ways of increasing customer satisfaction in compliance with local compliance rules,
- Grows the customer’s product usage by using technical and business knowledge,
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Technical teams of Zoetis and our distributors,
- Identifies commercial opportunities through networking of the different stakeholders,
- Daily contact with KA, KOL or other stakeholders from different area (e.g. Universities, specialty organizations or associations, etc.),
- Identifies key accounts, key influencers, and decision makers through a good analysis of the market,
- Organizes round table meetings, workshops, presentations, and regional symposia in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing and the Technical teams of Zoetis and our distributors,
- Find innovative ways to engage with Pet owners: participation in industry events, organize educational events and activities, digital campaigns, etc.,
- Offers support, training and coaching to our distributor team,
- Delivers assigned sales targets, growth and market share gains for specified product brands,
- Keep ahead of industry and market trend and applies best practices,
- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance,
adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global and local vet Policy,
Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practice. - Deliver technical training and coaching to distributor teams that is consistent and
compliant with Zoetis practice. Ensure adequate understanding and
knowledge transfer on products and diseases.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Veterinary or Life Science
- At least 3 years practical working experience in similar role and veterinary practice experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Romanian and English is required
- Excellent presentation skills and organization skills
- Current passport and valid driving license
- IT literate. Able to use standard business software MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and communication tools
- Travel Requirement: High frequency of travel within the country; Might require some international travel
