Intensive Livestock – Key Account Manager

This is an opportunity for you to join a talented and highly successful team within our Livestock Business Unit and to work with some of the most advanced and successful products available in the market. In this position you will be able to use your business development skills and technical knowledge to innovate and help grow the Zoetis business in the Australian pig, ruminant and immunobiological markets.

Reporting to the National Pig, Poultry & Nutrition Manager, you will thrive on the challenge, including working with Key Accounts applying advanced technology and practices in the Australian pig and ruminant health industries to drive them forward. From your base in South East Australia you will train, promote and implement leading animal health technologies both on farm and to key opinion leaders.

You will be a motivated team player with solid technical and time management skills as well as a passion for achieving sales targets. You will also have superior communication and negotiation skills complemented by strong presentation abilities and a flexible approach.

What’s the job:

• Key Account Manager – Pig and Ruminants
• The role is national however you will be working from home therefore ideally based in South East Australia. Enjoy travelling around Australia.
• Drive the sales and business development of key accounts
• Undertake on farm training and technical support in the area of vaccines and in feed medications
• Develop relationships with key rural vets and nutritionists to implement on farm health programmes that benefit their clients
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and achieve objectives.
• A tertiary degree in Agriculture, Animal or Veterinary Science would be beneficial.
