We are hiring for Zoetis Germany GmbH a field force/remote role as

INSIDE SALES LEAD GERMANY COMPANION ANIMALS (m/f/d)

This role contributes to the overall success of Zoetis by building and leading the Inside Sales Team, as well as managing strategic Business Unit Companion Animals projects.

The aim will be to develop thorough concepts and general plans for Inside Sales, and identify relevant KPI’s/ Metrics (all areas, especially Field Force Effectiveness regarding reach and frequency) as well as drive execution to expand the business and maximize growth and market share targets and achieve budget goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy and Planning

- Develop/support sales strategies and plans and translate into tactical delivery for the business leveraging insights from the Field Force and Next Generation Sales Engine. Align resources, activities and account plans with marketing programmes and management direction.
- Develop a model for an Inside Sales Team in Germany; build/ staff the team, define resources needed, as well as KPI’s and metrics

Field Force Effectiveness

- Pursue best in class sales execution with the team that is achieved within the framework of the Solution Selling model and monitor relevant field force effectiveness KPIs
- Undertake leadership activities that enable the team to be productive and effective – coach, monitor, feedback, train and support
- Drive the required coverage and frequency with identified target customers and deliver consequent growth.

People Development

- Lead the team of Inside Sales Reps with constant involvement and presence. Give them a specific and clear direction for the strategy, objectives, policies, practices and expectations
- Conduct (virtual) field visits and utilize time to coach and to understand day to day issues and monitor attitudes, skills, morale, and effectiveness
- Make active contributions to talent pipelining processes and act to retain and grow the talented individuals that exist in the team
- Embed a coaching culture in the team and ensure people are managed using the expectations set out in our company vision, mission, values, behaviors, and policies

Relationships

- Work in constant partnership with internal stakeholders. Nurture productive relationships built on a common goal of commercial success and a shared desire to deliver for the customer.
- Work closely with the CA Sales Team to deliver an appropriate and timely flow of information.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s Degree qualification required, preferably in relevant field; veterinary, science, business administration

- Significant sales experience (+7years) required; experience with outbound calling desirable

- Experienced people developer, coach, mentor and manager

- Experience in leading teams remotely desirable

- Experience in the animal health field

- IT literate. Able to use standard business software, communication tools and CRM systems

- Project management or consulting experience desirable

- Analytical thinker with experience in developing and pioneering new concepts

- Advanced skills in sales and negotiation and exceptionally commercially minded

- Customer centricity with a strong service orientation

- Effective stakeholder management

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Exceptional leadership capabilities; identifies potential, coaches, inspires and enables

- Fluency in German and English, other languages desirable

- Regular travel within Germany and occasionally abroad
