POSITION SUMMARY

1. Integration Strategy: Work closely with the business development team to develop integration strategies and identify value drivers for each acquisition or strategic initiative.

2. Integration Management Offices: Establish and lead integration management offices for specific acquisitions or initiatives, ensuring alignment with integration strategies and playbook.

3. Value Driver Monitoring: Support the monitoring and report on the progress of value drivers associated with integration efforts, tracking results and identifying areas for improvement.

4. Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the Global Strategy Group to prioritize and support strategic initiatives within acquired portions of the company and the wider organization.

5. Project Scoping and Planning: Lead the scoping and planning of integration projects, defining objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

6. Execution Support: Provide support and guidance to integration teams in executing integration plans, overcoming challenges, and driving results.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on integration efforts across different business areas. Own the development and tracking of integrated master plans.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

• Global Strategy, Commercial and Business Development, and Global BioDevices LT: Support the VP of Business Development in the development of a reporting framework for the wider LT, including update templates and metrics as appropriate.

• Business Development Team: Collaborate pre deal sign on the best integration approach and assumptions. Work with the BD finance group to document both the value drivers and metrics, including reporting standards.

• Global Strategy Group: Support the development and execution of the prioritisation and support strategic initiatives within acquired portions and the wider company. Key focus on value driver enablement projects.

• Functional Integration Teams: Engage with teams across Commercial, GMS, ZTD, Finance, Tax, HR, and other areas to support integration efforts.

• Global Commercial Development: Develop and maintain close collaboration with the Global Commercial Development team to ensure alignment between integration efforts and commercial strategies. Key focus on go-to-market strategies to support value drivers as defined in the deal books.

• External Innovation Organization: Engage with the External Innovation organization to understand where external partnerships, technologies, etc. may become future Integration Programs.

Financial Accountability

TBD, contract spend varies depending on the specific project. Depending on complexity can be $0 USD or >$2MM USD.

Supervision

Indirect reporting responsibilities for 10 - 15 colleagues per integration ongoing across all functions within the business. Typically Director level or above.

Typically 1-3 integrations / separations ongoing at any one time.
