What do we expect from you?
The Product Manager role owns the marketing strategy for a defined group of animal health products. He/She will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing information and activities that the field force will deliver to the customer.
The marketing strategies they develop are designed to deliver appropriate impact, product positioning, market growth, and profitability. The activities they undertake support the wider Zoetis marketing strategy and the company-wide direction for each product or service.
The person in this role is required to develop collaborative and productive partnerships with colleagues in respective business units. They work closely with these field force colleagues to deliver maximum impact with every product campaign. They work alongside other marketing colleagues to generate holistic campaigns that utilize all possible streams including digital tools and social media.
What will you do when you join our team?
Planning
- Lead the development of annual strategic marketing plans for core products.
- Work with field force to ensure alignment of marketing programmes to the Business Unit marketing strategy, sales activities and account plans.
- Develop, review and revise sales forecasting and inventory management. Conduct respective monthly reports & meetings.
- Determine the appropriate pricing structure together with Business Unit and Commercial Operations leaders to maximize sales and profitability.
- Maintain expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, competition, market and industry trends.
- Conduct regular customer visits to gain customer insights. Use this knowledge to feed into marketing plans.
Marketing Campaigns & Demand Creation
- Develop and deliver marketing campaigns that achieve appropriate impact, product positioning, market growth and profitability.
- Provide support, guidance and training to sales teams to ensure that all marketing activities are well-aligned with marketing priorities and objectives for each product and campaign.
- Work closely with Veterinarians, technical teams and L&D to determine training priorities and development plans for field force teams
- Analyse and interpret gathered data and feedback; use results of this analysis to inform commercial decision making
Relationships
- Develop mutually beneficial and productive partnerships with product stakeholders.
- Engage with the internal global marketing community to enable sharing of best practice.
- Support the Global Asset Team in development of their key product strategies.
- Create networks of resources within the team around each product and marketing campaign.
- Utilize the knowledge from colleagues and network to follow business growth opportunities.
- Seek customer centric input from sales team into marketing plans and programmes
- Contribute to the success of the business unit by sharing best practice with colleagues, proactively contributing ideas, and supporting others to do the same across the business.
Compliance
- Maintain high standards of business code of conduct & compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global Vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practise.
- Ensure accurate business records and communicate effectively, share information with the stakeholders
- Manage allocated Direct Marketing Expenditure (DME) budget with tight control to avoid overspends
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong communication skills both in Turkish and English; written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience in the animal health field is an asset
- A scientific background; experience or interest in science
- Exceptional relationship management, interpersonal skills and influencing abilities
- Effective stakeholder management
- Experience working with digital technology
- IT literate, able to use standard business software and communication tools
- A strong working knowledge of all key marketing disciplines and techniques
- A commercial mindset with strong financial acumen
- Analytical thinking, able to interpret data and information from multiple sources
- Strategic and innovative thinking
- No restriction to travel domestically and internationally
- No military obligation for male candidates
- Driving License (B) and a valid passport
