Logistics Manager Regional Hub
Responsibilities:

The Logistics Manager Regional Hub has oversight and coordination of the overall Operations, Costs and Performance for our regional logistics operations executed by 3rd party logistics services providers
-
The purpose of the role is to develop best in class logistics operations through cost, service, and process, that are aligned to our Zoetis global logistics operation standards and business performance targets
-
With a high degree of focus on performance and partnership, this role will drive change and improve performance by challenging the current situation, and actively partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Global Logistics, and associated teams to support a continuous improvement culture

Continuously strive for performance excellence through logistics operations (inc. quality), customer, financial and compliance to deliver the customer promise

Identify and develop key relationships and partnerships both internally and externally
-
Ensure best in class service level to internal and external customers and smoothen the logistics processes to provide flawless delivery of service
-
Manage the Logistics Services Partners to obtain best in class service and leverage the scale of our warehousing, transportation and VAS network to drive service and cost excellence

Develop, evolve, implement and continually monitor KPI’s to promote the right performance levels and controls, examples of some key metrics include:

Cost to serve

Budget commitment
-
On time collections
-
On time deliveries
-
Shipment lead times
-
Agreed continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
-
Undergraduate Degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or appropriate industry experience.
-
>3 years of relevant experience in supply chain and logistics management
-
>1 years of experience in pharma/ animal health industry as a plus
-
High degree of proficiency with Excel
-
Demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
-
Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work in a complex international organization, build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and across geographies
-
Deep functional knowledge in logistics with preferred experience managing a large scope in working primarily with 3rd party logistics services providers
-
Prior exposure to procurement activities including contract review and negotiation strategy
-
Knowledge of GDP requirements with experience managing temperature-controlled warehousing, shipping and high value goods
-
Ability to assess carrier performance based on customer feedback and implement changes where necessary
-
Experience leading operational changes working in a dynamic organization across different business functions
-
Excellent decision-making skills

Ability to resolve complex issues and effectively problem solve

Prior experience with SAP, Microsoft 365, PowerBI reporting

Knowledge of Import/ Export and Foreign Trade Zone regulations

Proficiency in English and Hungarian (spoken and written)

Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and tools as a plus
