The Diagnostic Account Manager will be accountable for the installation, adoption and utilisation of Zoetis’ range of VetScan Point of Care analysers. A high level of travel will be required for this field force role.
Success in this role is measured by the ability of the applicant to:
- Provide in clinic support to veterinary practices, with an emphasis on the implementation, adoption and utilisation of the Zoetis Point of Care Diagnostic offering
- Providing a gold standard onboarding process for New Zoetis Diagnostics customers
- Build valued relationships within an assigned territory of veterinary clinics to achieve the goals and objectives of both Zoetis and our customers through the application of the solution selling model
- Assist clinics with all aspects of both pre and post install training, operation, applications, and education
- Provide both remote & on-site problem solving & issue resolution for our customers working with our home based technical support teams
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with colleagues to ensure we deliver value by maximizing the complete Zoetis portfolio
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Customer focussed service skills, be able to follow processes, make appropriate decisions, prioritise and ensure a high level of follow-through
- A strong understanding of general medical/veterinary clinic operations including but not limited to diagnostic applications, training requirements, and workflow processes
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to others
- Exceptional IT, written and spoken communication skills
- Change agility
- Commercial acumen
- Knowledge of diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinic processes
- Basic knowledge of animal disease states
- A willingness and commitment to ongoing professional development
Role requirements:
- Ideally least three years of experience working in a veterinary/medical clinical setting
- Sales and account management experience preferable
- Candidate must possess a practical & analytical mindset and demonstrable critical thinking skills
- Have an ability to work autonomously, have outstanding planning skills and a high degree of attention to detail
- Be comfortable working with IT systems. An understanding of practice management tools would be advantageous
- Be a team player and contribute to a high-performing team
