What You Will Do:

• As a Pig & Poultry Field Services Manager, you will support our sales and marketing teams through various operational tasks, including:

  • Field Support: Deliver value-added services to poultry (and future pig) customers, fostering long-term partnerships through high-quality technical and practical support.
  • On-Farm Audits: Conduct vaccination audits and provide training on vaccination techniques and protocols, including water and spray applications.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop tailored training plans and deliver technical presentations at farmer discussion groups, addressing customer inquiries and problems effectively.
  • Data Collection: Collect diagnostic samples (blood, environmental, faecal, swabs, and tissue) for analysis.
  • SOP Creation: Create standard operating procedures for key accounts, enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to improve processes, share best practices, and actively participate in designing audit forms and reports for customer feedback

What You Bring:

Experience: Previous experience as a field services manager, area manager, or farm manager within the agricultural sector.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UK poultry industry, along with relevant technical knowledge and skills in vaccination.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities to build effective relationships with customers.

Resilience: A persistent attitude, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Technical Competencies: Proficient IT skills and the ability to analyse and leverage data for business improvements.
