Location: Leatherhead
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Business Unit: Animal Health
Travel Requirement: 50% based in Leatherhead Head Office, with occasional UK and international travel.

Zoetis is looking for a strategic and results-driven Pig and Poultry Product Manager to take ownership of the marketing strategy for a defined group of products. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Planning
- Lead the development of annual marketing strategies for core and focus pig and poultry products to meet company growth and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field force and technical teams, to align marketing programmes with business objectives and account plans.
- Plan and revise sales forecasting and inventory management, adapting to seasonal trends and market demands.
- Engage in monthly financial forecasting with the Marketing Manager, ensuring accurate sales projections.
- Work with Commercial Operations and Business Unit leaders to set competitive and profitable pricing structures.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and market shifts to adapt strategies and maintain product expertise.
Marketing Campaign Development & Execution
- Design and deliver high-impact marketing campaigns that promote product positioning, growth, and profitability through a 360? and omnichannel approach.
- Leverage digital tools and social media channels to enhance the customer journey at every touchpoint.
- Support and train sales teams on promotional materials, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and the Zoetis Solution Selling model.
- Collaborate with Area Business Managers, Veterinarians, and technical teams to create comprehensive campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and delivery.
Customer and Market Insights
- Regularly visit customers to gather insights that feed into your marketing strategies.
- Analyse market data, research, and field force feedback to inform decision-making and drive product growth.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximise product potential.
Team Collaboration
- Act as a central figure in the marketing community, sharing best practices and supporting global product strategy development.
- Work closely with colleagues across various teams – from Account Managers to Veterinarians – to ensure campaigns are holistic, customer-focused, and aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to the success of the wider business unit by actively participating in team collaboration, idea-sharing, and problem-solving.
Compliance & Budget Management
- Maintain high standards of compliance, adhering to Zoetis policies, including Pharmacovigilance and local codes of practice.
- Manage Direct Marketing Expenditure (DME) budget efficiently, ensuring cost control and avoidance of overspending.

- Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing disciplines, techniques, and strategies, particularly within the animal health sector.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience in financial forecasting, pricing strategy, and market analysis.

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree Educated – preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Marketing Qualification – advantageous but not essential.
- Strategic/Commercial Experience – previous experience in a strategic or commercial role is required.
- Digital Technology Experience – knowledge and experience working with digital marketing tools and channels.
