Position Summary:
The Outsourced Sales Specialist Companion Animal is responsible for promoting and creating demand for animal health products, providing technical support to customers, and conducting training sessions. This role involves developing proper strategies, building strong customer relationships, and offering expert advice on product usage. Additionally, the specialist will organize educational programs to enhance customer and team knowledge. Ideal candidates will have a background in animal health, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving the well-being of companion animals. This position combines commercial expertise with technical knowledge and training abilities to make a positive impact in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial and Marketing: Developing and executing demand strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. This includes identifying potential customers, conducting customer calls, and presenting product information. You will also be responsible for negotiating contracts, demand creation, and ensuring that commercial goals are met. Additionally, you will collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that effectively highlight the benefits of the products.
- Technical Support: Providing technical support and expertise to customers, which may include veterinarians, pet owners, and retailers. This involves understanding the technical aspects of the products and being able to explain their benefits and usage. You will troubleshoot any issues that arise, offer solutions, and ensure that customers are fully satisfied with the products. Staying updated with the latest advancements in animal health products and technologies is crucial to provide accurate and relevant information.
- Training and Education: Conducting training sessions and educational programs for customers and distributor teams to enhance their knowledge about the products and their applications. This includes preparing training materials, organizing workshops, and delivering presentations. You will also assess the training needs of different customer groups and tailor your sessions accordingly to ensure they are effective and engaging.
