Senior Manager International Diagnostics & Commercial Operations Finance Lead (m/w/d)
The Finance Lead, International Diagnostics and Commercial Operations, will serve as the key financial leader for Zoetis Global Diagnostics across non-US markets and support global Commercial Operations, including Customer Care, Medical Services, Marketing, and Product teams. Reporting to the Finance Lead, Global Diagnostics, will oversee all financial planning, reporting, and analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring alignment with the Global Diagnostics long-term objectives.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Business Partnering:
- Serve as the finance leader overseeing financial activities of the International Diagnostics and Commercial Operations
- Serve as business partner for Customer Care and Operations, Marketing, Product, and Medical Services organizations, providing insights to support strategic initiatives such as business model transformation, new product launches and operational excellence.
- Partner closely with international market leaders, International Diagnostics Marketing and international market finance organization, to align on resource allocation strategies and optimize financial performance in non-US markets.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including US Diagnostics Finance, FP&A (US, International & HQFP&A), GMS (demand planning, external supply).
2. Business Results and Reporting:
- Oversee all financial activities for non-US markets within Global Diagnostics, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of the P&L.
- Analyze business performance, identifying key drivers, challenges, and opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to leadership.
- Lead financial planning and reporting for global Commercial Operations, ensuring accuracy in cost allocations, marketing investments, and service-related expenses. Support local markets in their forecasting efforts of diagnostics products and revenues.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools using SAP, Power BI, Tableau, and other platforms to improve financial transparency and efficiency. Individual will be responsible of supporting the continuous improvement to our financial systems and processes to ensure we keep pace with the evolution of our business and have the appropriate level of foresight in data via KPI’s and other key metrics.
- Manage month-end close processes, variance analysis, and quarterly financial updates for leadership.
- Monitor and track business performance with proactive identification of issues, opportunities, and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, internal controls, and Zoetis policies.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 7-12 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or business partnering, preferably within Diagnostics, Animal Health, or related industries.
- Experience managing complex international P&Ls and leading financial strategy in a dynamic business environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering in a global or regional capacity.
- Strong technical proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Strategic thinker with a robust analytical background and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and build partnerships.
- Capable of managing and implementing process improvements, particularly in financial reporting and system enhancements.
