Position Summary:
The Thailand Performance & Customer Centre of Excellence Lead is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain activities for Thailand.
Act as Supply Chain Business partner being the single point of contact between Commercial and GMS, Regional and Global leads on balancing demand, supply and inventory as well as driving logistics operational effectiveness and cost improvements.
Drives improvement on KPI, process improvements and lead local team development
Provides timely input to regional and global teams
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Forecast Accuracy; Inventory; Lost Sales; Product Scrap; OTIF; CTS
Position Responsibilities:
Demand Management
- Lead IBP/S&OP process in collaboration with Commercial, Regulatory, Finance and GM
- Drive monthly demand review meetings with Business Unit Directors to align on rolling 36 month demand forecast (both volume and $)
- Provide inputs for Regional and Global demand review meeting as part of IBP process
- Partner with Global NPI and local Marketing teams to support successful new product launches
- Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvement plan for Forecast Accuracy
- Responsible for lost sales projections and mitigate backorders
- Drive increase in sustainable statistical forecast adoption
- Drive best practices in demand forecasting with local BU and GM
- Proactively review and drive SKUs discontinuations to optimize product portfolio
Supply Chain
- Act as Supply Chain bridge between commercial and GMS functions, Regional and Global functional leads and manage communication escalations
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to support the business growth
- Manage forecast major changes/exceptions and communicate effectively within Supply community
- Active participation in Supply Chain Planning forums with Platform Supply Planning team
- Review and adjust planning parameters to drive correct, timely replenishments
- Participate in S&OE meetings and drive related process improvement
- Drives improvement in local processes
Inventory Management
- Establish finished goods target stocking levels and drive optimal Months on hand (MOH)
- Establish action plans to reduce E&O and inventory write-off
- Regularly review planning parameters and drive optimal inventory levels whilst mitigating inventory OOS and write off
Logistics Management and Cost Improvement
- Responsible for local logistics operations, KPI performance and process improvements
- Measure and track LSP’s operational performance and compliance against agreed service levels and identify opportunities to drive improvements in costs, leadtime, service levels
- Establish pipeline for Logistics cost improvement and sustainability
- Drive continuous improvement culture implementation on Import, FG Warehousing, Relabeling, Market distribution and Export processes in accordance with Zoetis policies and legal requirements
- Ensure that information management systems, data management processes and interfaces operate to support all key Supply and Logistics drivers for success and delivery of agreed service levels
- Implement and maintain controls to ensure GDP compliance including cold chain monitoring aligned to Global Quality and Global Logistics guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with required regulations, policies and procedures, and Zoetis standards including e.g.: FCPA, SOX, Operations (EH&S, dangerous goods, facilities and conveyance security, Business continuity), Zoetis Operating Model, Customs and International Trade requirements.
- Collaborate with Global Logistics and Global Trade Compliance team to support distribution strategy, cold chain, trade compliance initiatives
- Manage the dangerous goods regulations and application of the rules (ADR, IATA, etc..)
- Work with Commercial to establish product, channel, and customer priorities to optimize the balance between Customer Service level, Profitability, and Supply Chain efficiency.

- Leading and driving colleague development
Drive and develop in local team capability and build leadership pipeline
Qualifications:
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, business administration or logistics
Experience:
- >7 years of relevant experience in demand, supply, logistics management
- Proven track record in end to end supply chain and driving cost improvements/avoidance
Skills:
- Proven understanding of end to end supply chain processes
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing organizations and external LSP
- Ability to work independently, in teams and influence others, as well as leading a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work, goals and tasks in accordance with division and corporate objectives
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize to make data driven decisions
Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in English
