As a key member of our Corporate Affairs team and a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will shape and implement communications that elevate our brand, engage our workforce, and support our commercial strategy across multiple countries. This role is critical in ensuring alignment between business objectives and compelling, results-driven communications.

🔹 Your Role & Impact

As Communications Lead, you will:
✔️ Act as a strategic communications advisor to the Vice President & General Manager, UK, and Vice President, BNL/Nordics & Ireland, as well as country General Managers, ensuring messaging consistency and alignment.
✔️ Develop and execute communication strategies that support business priorities, culture, and colleague engagement across multiple regions.
✔️ Create compelling content for executive thought leadership, including talking points, briefing documents, and presentations for internal and external engagements.
✔️ Strengthen media relations by cultivating and maintaining relationships with business press, consumer media, key industry opinion leaders, and external stakeholders.
✔️ Roll out internal communication and engagement strategies that align with Zoetis’ Vision, Mission, and Core Beliefs, fostering a strong workplace culture.
✔️ Lead planning and execution of key internal and external events, including Town Halls, People Manager Meetings, Annual Meetings (POA), and Central Customer and Media Events.
✔️ Support product launches with PR campaigns and proactive storytelling that enhance our market presence.
✔️ Ensure brand consistency across all communications while aligning with corporate brand guidelines and strategic priorities.
✔️ Mitigate risks and protect Zoetis’ reputation, anticipating and addressing potential crises proactively.
✔️ Oversee agency and vendor management to ensure efficient delivery of communication strategies.
✔️ Drive local Public Affairs initiatives in collaboration with the Global Director of Public Affairs and external agencies.
✔️ Foster talent development, mentoring and guiding communication professionals across regions to build strong, high-performing teams.

🔹 What You Bring to the Team

We are looking for a highly skilled communications leader with:
✔️ 10+ years of experience in developing and delivering internal and external communications strategies within a multinational, matrixed organization.
✔️ Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to counsel senior executives and manage change communications effectively.
✔️ Exceptional storytelling abilities, translating complex information into clear and engaging messages for different audiences.
✔️ Proven success in media relations, executive communication, and brand positioning.
✔️ Expertise in change management communications, supporting transformation and business evolution.
✔️ The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
✔️ Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, influencing without authority.
✔️ A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, anticipating communication opportunities and risks.
✔️ Experience managing agencies and vendors to execute communication strategies effectively.
✔️ A deep understanding of digital and traditional communication channels to drive engagement.
✔️ An entrepreneurial and innovative approach to corporate storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
✔️ Animal health, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or pet care industry experience (a plus!).
