Production Supervisor

Description

• Oversee shift operators, ensure production plan adherence and manage the manufacturing
operation to produce ECTOS products with quality and ensure continuous supply, according
to GMP and EHS requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Provide technical support and guidance across the production areas.
• Ensure the following routine business processes are completed including:
o Completion of Batch Paperwork
o Maintenance, Calibration of equipment requirements are scheduled/completed
o Production Orders closed in a timely manner
o Update and maintenance of SOPs
o Process Monitoring (e.g. fill measures, yields, etc.) and identification of trends as per
team requirements
o Investigation of Production Order variances.
• Ensure sufficient resources are available to achieve the production plan, including staff,
equipment, facilities and documentation. Liaison with other departments (QA, QC, EMU/EHS,
Supply Chain) regarding team activities or problems.
• Assist with preparation and management of departmental budget.
• Ensure all routine quality and EH&S related processes are completed including:
• Timely completion of QARs and Corrective / Preventative Actions by applying DMAIC approach
o Completion of Internal or External audit action items
o Submission and completion of Change submissions
o Operator Training and Certification
o GMP requirements are consistently enforced
o EH&S requirements are considered and EH&S standards enforced in the area
o Completion of EH&S risk assessments associated risk reduction activities
• Manage team performance requirements including:
o Effective utilization and management of staff
o Providing feedback regarding the “on the job” performance of operators
o Providing “on the job” assessment of operator skills
• Participation in compliance, improvement or validation projects within the production area.
• Develops teamwork, problem solving, goal attainment and performance enhancement skills
in production team.
• Drive operational improvements.
• Cultivate and reinforce the visual management process.
• Complete timely all the performance process and recognition program for the direct report.
3.1-Education:
• Secondary high school diploma or bachelor’s degree (Chemistry preferred) or related
discipline.
3.2-Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing operation with demonstrated ability
to execute operational plans, and effectively resolve complex technical issues in a timely
manner.
3.3-Core Competencies:

• Good English knowledge.
