Description
The Manager, BioDevice Field Service is responsible for leading, coordinating and managing all technical and mechanical responsibilities of the BioDevice business (In Ovo Vaccination) in Canada. They will ensure all BioDevice customers receive best-in-class service and support through effective leadership, coaching and development of a team of remote Field Service Specialists.
This position is located in either Alberta or Ontario and includes 30%-40% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the Field Service Preventative Maintenance Program
- Proactively recruiting and onboarding new colleagues for the assigned area
- Planning and Implementing Engineering Change Notifications (ECN’s) for the respective area
- Implementing effective procedures for all reporting colleagues in safety, mechanical, electrical, and hatchery environment processes
- Ensuring the In Ovo Process Evaluation Audit Program requirements are met for the assigned area
- Partnering with the Technical Service or Territory Managers to meet customer expectations and needs, and ensuring all Field Service Personal are trained on all technical aspects of In Ovo Vaccination
- Overseeing and facilitating the routine collection and reporting of all field service information.
- Taking responsibility for the overall financial expenses as it relates to the BioDevice business
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience Mechanical/Electrical maintenance or related experience of BioDevices.
- Associate degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or related curriculum
- Five years of People Management preferred
- Poultry Industry knowledge and awareness preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Established coaching skills
- Proficient organizational skills
- Self-motivator and self starter
- Strong critical thinking problem solving, judgment, and initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills using Power Point, Word , Excel , and Outlook
- Proven skills in interpreting and communicate Hatchery Air Plating Program results.
- Proven mechanical aptitude
