ROLE DISCRIPTION
Trade Marketing/Product Manager is responsible for the operational management of a designated business unit’s product portfolio. This role drives product growth through management of trade promotions, managing of demand forecast including inventory across the supply chain, and the execution of targeted marketing strategies. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Technical, Regulatory, Sales, and external stakeholders to ensure successful product performance and compliance with industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support in New Product Launches:
- Support the execution of new product launches, including launch readiness, internal training, and external communications.
- Support in developing launch toolkits, including promotional materials, and sales aids tailored to veterinarians, customers and pet-owners.
Trade Marketing planning and execution:
- Develop and execute trade marketing campaigns, including the creation of promotional tools such as brochures, posters, and communication in clinics.
- Conducted data analysis to develop trade marketing strategies and executed trade promotion programs within allocated budgets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality marketing materials..
- Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Sales Enablement & Collaboration:
- Provide clear direction and support to the sales team to ensure alignment with product and service strategies.
- Assist Marketing Manager in developing tactical execution plans to expand sales and profitability in target animal health markets.
Demand Forecast and Inventory Management:
- Responsible for forecasting demands through clear understanding of business performance and adapt with BU strategy development.
- Collaborate with sales and supply chain team to manage inventory across the supply chain to ensure adequate supply to meet demand.
Stakeholder & Industry Engagement:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary clinics and strategic partners to maximize A&P (Advertising & Promotion) budgets.
- Represent the company in relevant animal health associations and industry events to ensure strong brand visibility and influence.
- Collaborated with the Technical team to ensure the effectiveness of industry and educational events in alignment with brand strategy, executed properly within the allocated budget.
Performed other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
