Description
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective FFE strategies in collaboration with first-line managers across the sales force.
- Define customer segmentation and targeting strategies, prioritizing key customers, prescribers, and influencers by value.
- Design and oversee sales incentive schemes and transparent, data-driven target-setting processes to motivate performance and align with business objectives.
- Monitor KPIs and incentive effectiveness to ensure optimal customer coverage, engagement frequency, and sustainable growth.
- Analyze market segmentation, sales metrics, and CRM data to inform targeting decisions and optimize sales force performance.
- Generate actionable insights for marketing and commercial leadership on customer engagement and channel impact.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Business Unit Directors, providing support during product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Support regional teams in integrating customer engagement plans to optimize channel mix.
CRM & NGSE
- Drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of CRM and NGSE tools to enhance sales execution and customer engagement.
- Lead strategic alignment and execution of CRM and NGSE initiatives, ensuring consistency with regional and Center of Excellence (CoE) directives while adapting to local market needs.
- Act as the liaison between international policies and local market requirements, collaborating with Operational Excellence to tailor CRM and NGSE solutions for optimal and compliant implementation.
- Facilitate training, communication, and continuous improvement to embed CRM and NGSE practices into daily sales workflows and coaching.
- Partner with CoE, Digital Transformation Hub, Commercial Leadership, and Learning & Development teams to integrate CRM and NGSE strategies effectively.
- Monitor adoption and system performance, providing feedback to regional and CoE teams for ongoing enhancement.
- Oversee CRM cycle planning and operational use to support local sales activities and business goals.
Relationships
- Represent the country’s Field Force Effectiveness (FFE) agenda across the organization, including company meetings, projects, and global commercial operations forums.
- Advocate for the local market’s needs and perspectives, ensuring they are reflected in strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Role model best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging idea sharing and celebrating team successes.
Solution Selling & Field Coaching
- Own the direction and modeling of the implementation of Solution Selling practices within sales activities, ensuring continuous relevance and effectiveness.
- Lead the ongoing improvement of Zoetis’ Solution Selling methodology by identifying gaps and opportunities to enhance the field force’s capabilities and sales performance.
- Drive the use of a layered competency model to set clear expectations for the knowledge, behaviors, skills, and attitudes required for success at each stage of the sales process.
- Collaborate with L&D to support training initiatives, while taking primary responsibility for elevating coaching standards and management behaviors across business units.
- Partner with Business Unit Directors and Sales Managers to build coaching capabilities and increase the potential of sales teams through effective field coaching.
