POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the warehouse performs effectively and efficiently. The position supports the overall effectiveness of warehouse operations by adhering to stock control procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Goods receipt

1.1 Goods Receipt

• Process goods received accurately and in line with company procedures inclusive of; Processing receipts of inventory and non-inventory items, Unacceptable deliveries, Storage of inventory items and warehouse housekeeping

• Observes correct manual handling techniques when receiving, moving and putting away items

• Ensures that products are correctly labelled in line with company procedure

1.2 Credit Control

• Ensures that credit and returns from clients are accepted in line with company procedure

• Ensures credits and returns from within the warehouse are managed in line with company policy

2. Order processing

2.1a Processing Orders

• Printing of picking slips

• Ensures each order is accurately picked. This is inclusive of the following:

- Correct product location selection

- Identification of damaged or unsaleable goods

- Correct handling and administrative procedures followed with hazardous products and controlled drugs.

- Observes correct manual handling techniques when picking orders

2.1b Work Order processing

• Accurately picking and issuing materials to process orders

• Returning materials from process workers

• Regularly report process order status and any issues

2.2 Packing Orders

• Ensures each order is accurately checked, packed and labelled. This is inclusive of the following;

- General products

- Drugs of Addiction (S8) and Anabolics

- Dangerous goods

- Fragile products

- Bulk Items

2.3 Dispatch Process

• Ensures order is Despatched in SAP

• Courier labels are attached and relevant paperwork is attached to consignment

• Ensures that delivery docket is attached to goods

3. Warehouse Routines

3.1 Product Storage

• Ensures goods are stored in line with company procedures and Occupational Health and Safety legislation. This will include;

- Pallet Storage, General Products, Drugs of Addiction (S8), Cold Items, Merchandising and Bulk Storage.

• Allocates bin locations and product locations for new and existing products as per company procedures

• Ensures that housekeeping is being completed and maintained daily. This includes but not limited to production rubbish removal, warehouse cleaning etc.

3.2 Product Knowledge

• Demonstrates willingness and ability to develop product knowledge skills by attending relevant meetings or events organised by Jurox

3.3 Departmental Communication

• Facilitates teamwork and innovation by sharing ideas and information in relations to the client care systems and warehouse routines

• Demonstrates flexibility by working with and supporting all co-workers in all departments of the company

4. Operational Functions

4.1 OHS and Confidentiality

• Ensures security and emergency situations are followed as directed by company procedure. This includes; break and enter, armed hold up, fire drill and fire.

• Demonstrates knowledge and compliance of occupational health and safety legislation

• Demonstrates the ability to uphold confidentiality for all company information

• Complies with safe manual handling techniques

5. Forklift

5.1 Forklift Duties

• Ensures that forklift is operated safely and in line with OHS legislations in undertaking associated tasks

• Ensure forklift operator maintenance is carried out as per user manual

• Ensures that housekeeping is being completed and maintained daily
