What do we expect from you?
The Regulatory Lead is a key member of our team, responsible for leading regulatory operations and processes to ensure compliance for Zoetis products in Turkey. This role is one of the key contacts for regulatory authorities and demonstrates leadership within its own responsibilities, reporting to Regulatory Manager.
What will you do when you join our team?
Responsibilities:
- Act as one of the key contacts for regulatory authorities, representing Zoetis in all regulatory matters
- Obtain and maintain Marketing Authorisations (Product Licences) for Zoetis products, enabling sales of veterinary medicines
- Ensure compliance of manufacturing and marketing activities with the terms of granted Marketing Authorisations
- Prepare, submit, and maintain renewal, variation, and update dossiers for Zoetis products
- Supervise the preparation of product artworks using the Artwork and Packaging Specifications System
- Archive competent authority notifications and regulatory dossiers, ensuring documentation integrity and accessibility
- Review and approve brochures and other technical documents prior to distribution
- Manage regulatory payments to competent authorities
- Monitor and interpret changes in local and global regulations, proactively updating internal processes
- Collaborate with Zoetis Global Regulatory groups and lead cross-functional regulatory initiatives
- Lead and coordinate GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) process tracking, audits, and compliance activities
- Manage regulatory processes and communications with authorities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and proactive engagement
- Ensure strong communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regulatory guidance and training to relevant teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence
- Maintain high standards of business code of conduct & compliance, adhering to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global Vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy, and local codes of practice
- Ensure accurate business records and communicate effectively, sharing information with stakeholders
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., veterinary medicine, chemistry, chemical engineering)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in regulatory operations preferably in a multinational environment
- Experience in the pharma or animal health industry is an asset
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory operations and GMP compliance
- Strong communication skills in Turkish and English; written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP programs (preferably SAP)
- Exceptional relationship management, interpersonal skills, and influencing abilities
- Effective stakeholder management
Technical abilities:
- IT literate, able to use standard business software and communication tools
- A commercial mindset with strong financial acumen
- Analytical thinking, able to interpret data and information from multiple sources
- Strategic and innovative thinking
- No restriction on travel domestically and internationally
- No military obligation for male candidates
- Driving License (B) and a valid passport
