Currently for Zoetis Hungary KFT we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Demand Planner Ukraine,Georgia, West Balkans & Baltics
(maternity leave cover)
Location: Budapest
Position purpose:
As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end demand planning process across assigned markets: generate a validated consensus forecast by integrating statistical models and collaborating with Commercial & Marketing teams. Ensure IBP governance and act as single point of contact for Commercial on demand planning matters.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lead monthly Demand Review and Consensus meetings with Commercial to align on sales, budgets, inventory targets, NPI, promotions and tenders.
- Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality and promotion data for 36-months forecast creation. Challenge and validate forecasts, including lifecycle management (NPI, discontinuations).
- Ensure accurate transmission of the demand signal for supply planning, with all relevant system setups.
- Integrate forecasts into DRP tools for make-to-stock items and continuously improve forecasting tools and processes.
- Track and analyze forecast and inventory KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
- Act as the primary liaison between Demand Planning and Commercial teams.
- Support markets with ad-hoc planning queries, inventory transfers and inform about allocation.
- Analyze projected inventories, optimize stock levels, communicate supply risks/backorders and lead resolution of slow-moving or dead stock.
Requirements:
- University degree (in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field).
- Confident working with data and skilled at turning analysis into actionable insights.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and can lead discussions.
- High level of motivation, assertiveness, and strategic thinking.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or animal health industry.
- Solid understanding of demand planning processes. Experience with SAP ECC and IBP Demand Planning is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English and Hungarian is a must
