Zoetis has manufacturing network of 29 sites worldwide, and following our acquisition of Jurox Australia, we are now seeking to employee an Engineering Manager at Rutherford in the Hunter Valley.
Position summary
The Engineering Manager is a member of the Site Leadership team and drives key strategic initiatives to achieve site objectives for safety, quality, compliance, supply and continuous improvement. The Engineering Manager is responsible with leading all engineering, maintenance and utility operations at the site, including capital planning and execution, maintenance reliability, supporting technical projects including continuous improvement and technical transfers, energy management, process automation, utility operations, site security and facilities management.
Education and experience
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in engineering, and team leadership in manufacturing sites, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related).
- Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to build effective partnerships with both business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and complete multiple simultaneous projects on a deadline.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Decision maker and great communicator who can present complex information in a simplified manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to develop team members, achieve and optimize team performance.
- Project engineering and project management experience
