Description
We are seeking our next Senior Legal Counsel - Latin America, who will be fully responsible for contracts in Zoetis Chile and Peru; provide daily support on diverse legal topics and projects for both markets, including advertisement review and labor advice; offer legal counseling to colleagues regarding internal company policies; and lead engagement with outside counsel in Chile and Peru.
Main responsibilities:
- Elaborate, review and coordinate execution of all kinds of commercial and service agreements needed by all business units and enabling functions.
- Work with outside counsel on litigation matters, gathering information and documentation needed and provide support to team on monthly reports.
- Provide day-to day counseling regarding legal matters, including labor matters and advertisement review.
- Support the Corporate Trademark regarding inquiries of use of trademarks in the region. Request evidence of registration and share with specific enabling functions.
- Gather, structure and report required reports and legal documentation for internal and external audit processes in Chile and Peru.
- Coordinate elaboration and formalization of corporate documents with external counsel and notary public offices in Chile
- Responsibility for engagement with outside counsel in Chile and Peru (when needed).
