Project Engineer - 12months

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Completion of capital projects to meet cGMP, EHS and business requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage planning and delivering minor and medium capital projects at the Melbourne site to agreed quality, budgets and timelines outcomes

Guide the design stages of facilities and equipment to support Melbourne operations. Prepare design drawings, design briefs, functional specifications, design specifications and other project documentation as required.

Prepare and execute commissioning and qualification protocols and reports to meet Zoetis and relevant regulatory standards.

Perform commissioning, installation qualification and operational qualification of new equipment and facilities

Support and manage external design consultants and installation contractors as required

Work in accordance to Zoetis, SOPs, EH&S and GMP guidelines and regulations with a focus on improvement

Identify and implement at least one measurable continuous improvement idea each year

Complete all safety audit action items within the agreed time frame

Completion and filing of documentation to GMP requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Engineering degree (mechanical or chemical)

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Design and delivery of HVAC, water, process, automation, utilities and other systems related to Pharmaceutical and

Biotechnology facilities

GMP knowledge as it applies to facilities and equipment

A high degree of autonomy and self-motivation, and an ability to work with other members of team

Sound self-management, organisational and planning skills

Strong commitment to service and quality
