What do we expect from you?
The IT Operations & Support Coordinator serves as a pivotal support resource, bridging Zoetis business units and IT operations. The primary purpose of this role is to provide hands-on, day-to-day support across a breadth of IT processes, ensuring smooth running of internal operations and strengthening technology adoption. The scope encompasses technical maintenance, user issue resolution, basic project execution, and compliance activities, all while coordinating with multiple business clusters. The position requires balancing daily incident management with the proactive follow-up of open issues, supporting digital initiatives, and enabling continuous improvement. By providing clear communication and adaptive support, the IT Operations & Support Coordinator drives operational resilience, fosters a collaborative environment, and ensures the organization’s technology infrastructure remains robust and compliant.
What will you do when you join our team?
- Maintenance & Support: Provide proactive day-to-day support including certificate renewal, resolution of single user issues, maintenance activities, system troubleshooting, routine UAT support, and compliance-related tasks.
- Simple Project Handling: Lead and deliver straightforward IT projects, leveraging basic tech skills to support initiatives on ZenAI and PowerPlatform, ensuring user requirements are met efficiently.
- Support & Issue Follow-up: Resolve and track open issues from all user levels, maintaining an effective process for follow-up and closure, and balancing support across multiple operational clusters.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring smooth communication, clear expectation management, and consistent updates on open topics.
- Compliance & Audit: Coordinate compliance activities, maintain accurate records, and support internal/external audits through regular follow-up and document management.
- Project & Portfolio Oversight: Monitor technology initiatives, track project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Training & Enablement: Deliver training and create supporting documentation to upskill end users and support teams across the region.
- Digital Adoption & Innovation Support: Actively support ZTD digital and technology innovation initiatives at site level, ensuring smooth adoption of new technical capabilities and consistent market support.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness, monitoring vendor performance and addressing any issues or discrepancies
- Market Support: Support markets with testing activities and facilitate the strong adoption of technical capabilities rolled out at sites, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.
Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT consulting.
- Communication skills and critical thinking
- Multiple Task Management
- Strong knowledge of English (Fluent Speak – Write) Excellent written and spoken communication skills, English required
Technical abilities:
- Industry/Business Knowledge – Should understand issues and trends facing the Animal Health industry in addition to issues specific to their aligned business unit.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain long term relationship on different levels within both IT and business groups:
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively to be able to participate in business and ZTD discussions.
- Relationship Management: Should maintain a strong positive relationship with the business; should be seen as a trusted partner and should work to maintain high customer and business satisfaction
- Must be capable to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong team player and contributor to team environment.
- Self-starting, solution driven and customer oriented.
- Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and Application support; Working knowledge of networking and systems design.
- Technology experience: Microsoft PowerPlatform, web/mobile solutions include data management and business intelligence solutions; application and database development, general understanding of data center and infrastructure technologies and general understanding of ERP and logistics systems.
- Experience in working with stakeholders in multiple markets with diverse cultures and business models
