Technology & Digital Business Partner, North Asia & Philippine

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Serves as the primary Technology & Digital (ZTD) point of contact to the Japan , South Korea and Philippine market business leadership. Responsible for consulting with local business leaders to help them to determine how technology can best address their business needs and growth opportunities; Actively participates in business leadership team meetings and advocates (corporate) technology solutions to meet business needs and goals. (20%)

- Act as a Technology & Digital leader as an advocate for market requirements when global technology related initiatives are being rolled out. Requires a very strong level of project management and proven track record for execution for IT solutions. (20%)

- Accountability for issue resolution, managing escalations, aligning ongoing maintenance and operations with our global infrastructure team.(10%)

- Accountable for execution of agreed Technology & Digital projects and investments across the Japan , South Korea and Philippine market; Responsible for local financial budgets in line with Technology and Digital regional operating budget.(10%)

- Accountable for the effective delivery of local Technology & Digital solutions that align with key processes across Animal Health Technology & Digital including portfolio management and governance.(10%)

- Provides single-point of accountability for technology management, solution delivery and performance (cost and quality).(5%)

- Aligns to global portfolio management strategies, working to rationalize local solutions and standardize on Zoetis global solutions.(5%)

- Accountable for managing local compliance processes and documentation, in line with global compliance teams.(5%)

- Responsible for the Technology & Digital local disaster recovery processes and upkeep of documentation.(5%)

- Supports ZTD Regional Lead, Center of Excellence (COE) Teams and business to roll out new and existing capabilities to strength digital expansion and maturity(5%)

- Work with business and Center of Excellence Teams to ensure strong adoption of technical capabilities rolled out in Japan , South Korea and Philippine market.(5%)

• All Commercial / Global Manufacturing Supply (GMS) / Enabling functions in Japan ,Korea and Philippine
• ZTD Global team / ZTD regional lead
• Center of Excellence (COE) team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• University Degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems/Business Administration or other relevant fields. MBA or Equivalent Degree Preferred.
• Strong team player and contributor to team environment. Self-starting, solution driven and customer oriented.
• Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and Application support; Project Management; Working knowledge of networking and systems design.
• Technology experience: web/mobile solutions include e-commerce/digital marketing; data management and business intelligence solutions; SalesForce automation / CRM solutions; Social media platform(LINE or KaKaoTalk), Cloud platform(Azure or AWS), Cloud Call center / customer support technologies, general understanding of data center and infrastructure technologies and general understanding of SAP HANA S/4 and logistics systems.
• Experience in a commercial environment, preferably life-sciences, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and resources concurrently, developing budgets and managing forecasts for IT investments.
• Experience in working with stakeholders in multiple markets with diverse cultures and business models.
• Business process analysis and design; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Seizes accountability and acts decisively. Ability to ‘own’ issues and work with relevant business and global Zoetis Tech & Digital teams’ for resolution.
• Strong project management skills. Excellent time management and follow up is a must.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to work in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders that include Business Units, Regional, Functional Leaders and their teams.
• Strong team player and contributor to team environment, relationship builder and experience in leveraging matrix organization, and managing resources without direct authority.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This position is located at Tokyo, periodically required to travel to S. Korea and Philippine (quarterly or so) and within the APAC region (annually may be required). Only applicants with existing permanent work rights for Japan will be considered for this role.
