Position: Business Unit Manager – Companion Animals

Area: Companion Animals Business Unit

Reports to: General Manager Zoetis Ecuador

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly driven, results-oriented and people focused Business Unit Leader to lead the Companion Animals business in Ecuador. This role is responsible for overseeing the full strategy, operations, and performance of the unit—from defining and executing the growth agenda to ensuring daily commercial excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of hands-on leadership and strategic thinking, capable of navigating a dynamic and competitive market. This role plays a critical part in the Zoetis Ecuador leadership team, with full accountability for P&L ownership and market share growth and must be a model of our culture, purpose, and core beliefs.

Key Responsibilities

Experience and Education

- Professional in Administration, Marketing, Veterinary Medicine, or related fields.

- Desirable experience in commercial with trade marketing and marketing experience, or business unit leadership roles, ideally in animal health, pharmaceuticals, or consumer goods.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational detail.

- Proven experience leading teams and managing distributors in highly competitive environments.

- Entrepreneurial mindset, resilient, and results-oriented.

- Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize, and make strategic decisions with limited resources.

- Fluent in English (oral and written), with effective communication skills at local and global levels.

- High capacity for influence, strategic thinking, and disciplined execution.
