Description
The Associate Technical provides technical expertise and veterinary support to sales team, customers.
He/She ensures our scientific resources and technical activities deliver value to our customers, giving Zoetis a major differentiator and creating significant competitive advantage.
The person in role provides connecting, guidance and leadership to the technical team of distributor; KA customers, Veterinary Consultants. He/She supports and enable the team to provide scientific and technical support to our customers on the health, diagnostics and disease control of their animals.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Planning
- Align technical and marketing strategies to support sales goals.
- Translate strategy into actionable plans for internal and distributor sales teams.
- Lead KOL engagement and field studies for new products.
- Support clinical courses and maintain updated technical materials.
- Stay current on market trends and competitor activity.
- Conduct field visits to assess team performance and morale.
- Present at industry events and handle product complaints professionally.
- Act as lead technical representative on key projects.
Customer activities
- Provide expert technical support and consultancy.
- Monitor KPIs and deliver strategic messaging aligned with Solution Selling.
- Collaborate with KAMs to assess field force performance.
Business Unit Support & Relationships
- Support marketing and training initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing (Product Manager) and Pharmacovigilance team on studies and communications.
- Promote best practices and team collaboration.
- Guide technical colleagues on strategy and operations.
Compliance
- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practise
- Ensure the proper conduct of clinical activities such as demonstrations
- Ensure the recording of accurate business records. Communicate effectively, sharing account information with other stakeholders
