POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Leader is responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of quality veterinary medicines to our customers, while ensuring a strong commitment to health and safety within the workplace. The Site Leader shall also lead the full integration of the Rutherford site into Zoetis including alignment with our core beliefs, systems and standards

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Provides leadership and direction for site operations, including Manufacturing, Quality Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, EHS and coordination with enabling functions supporting the site (HR, Finance, Procurement, IT). • Ensure the smooth integration of the site including alignment with systems (such as SAP), standards (including quality and EHS) and organization practices.• Ensures a Health and Safety First operational environment within the workplace. Work towards building a strong commitment to health and safety by all employees, contractors and visitors to our sites. • Works collaboratively with business leaders globally, as well as external network, customers and regulatory agencies in advancing site and network objectives. • Partners with all areas of Zoetis in creating and enhancing revenue and providing competitive costs while assuring quality products and supply reliability • Acts as key member of the ANZ Platform leadership team, advancing GMS network objectives in support of business strategy. • Analyzes financial issues and makes appropriate decisions to achieve both short and long-term objectives for the site and network. • Supervise daily production where appropriate to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards. • Develops and maintains a highly effective organization through organizational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition and development, training, performance management, coaching, compensation planning, and reward and recognition. • Is accountable for establishing and maintaining inclusive work environments that promote quality, compliance, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, collaboration, security, colleague engagement, talent retention, and continued optimization of processes. • Ensures compliance with all legal, statutory and corporate affairs requirements on a timely basis as appropriate. • Creates, establishes and maintains a culture that exemplifies the Zoetis Core Beliefs. |

The successful candidate will regularly interact with R&D and Commercial leaders, and with all site colleagues. |

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
|
• Bachelor degree in Engineering / Science or related discipline. Masters or MBA preferred. • At least eight years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, including five years in a leadership role (manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, etc.) |

• An experienced leader able to develop and execute a vision. • Ability to synthesize complex concepts into simplistic objectives that lead to real results. • Able to navigate a matrixed organization and build productive working relationships with peers and stakeholders. • Demonstrated strengths in the following capabilities: operational management, data and financial analysis, supply chain, decision-making, critical thinking and technical skills pertaining to manufacturing. • Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, community relations and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated record of innovation, change management, continuous improvement with development/implementation of best practices. • Proven history of effective performance management, coaching, mentoring and a commitment to mutual accountability, with track record of talent development and succession planning. • Experience interfacing with global Regulatory Authorities and assuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Demonstrated record of achievement required. • Demonstrated ability to provide clear direction and prioritization to colleagues in times of conflicting requirements and insufficient resources. • Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze complex data sets to help teams address issues impacting the sites ability to meet supply, quality and cost objectives. |
