The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Area Manager to join our Companion Animal team in NSW covering Newcastle and the North Coast.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Central, you’ll build trusted partnerships with veterinary clinics and pet retailers, delivering customer value and driving territory performance through strong business insight, planning, and execution.

Territory & travel
- Territory: Newcastle and NSW North Coast (ideally Newcastle-based and living within the territory)
- Travel: Regular overnight travel
What you’ll do
- Develop trusted partnerships with veterinary and retail customers, acting as the primary point of contact for Zoetis.
- Drive sales of key brands in line with the commercial plan, taking ownership of territory performance and budget delivery.
- Deliver technical training that supports adoption of our unique, industry-leading product range.
- Implement key marketing programs and initiatives in person, using available tools to collaborate with customers and deliver measurable value.
- Demonstrate strong territory management, including time management, call planning, and accurate CRM record-keeping.
- Champion continuous improvement and consistently role-model the values and behaviours that contribute to a high-performing team.
- Bring vitality and enthusiasm that aligns with the Zoetis Companion Animal purpose: ‘To pioneer in animal health so that pets can live their best lives’
