Who we are looking for
Based in Sydney and reporting to the Companion Animal Marketing Director, this is a role that is responsible for managing a portfolio of brands synonymous with innovation and trust, including the market leading Apoquel? franchise and Cytopoint?.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a love for animals, animal wellbeing and an appreciation of the importance of the human-animal bond. You will have the opportunity to deliver real value and meaningful support to veterinarians and veterinary clinic teams – and the pets they care for – across Australia.
Key to your success will be:
- The ability to shape the long-term strategic plan for the Dermatology portfolio – a B2B prescription medication portfolio – diagnosing the biggest opportunities and successfully executing on them, in partnership with our Sales and Digital Sales teams.
- The ability to drive alignment across internal stakeholders.
- Experience in managing brands in highly competitive segments.
- Experience in demand forecasting and inventory management.
Overview of the Role
The Dermatology Marketing Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Dermatology portfolio strategy, building and executing on an annual brand plan. This includes:
- Leveraging the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place) to successfully compete for market share
- Internal stakeholder alignment as the leader of the Dermatology taskforce
- Executing campaigns across multiple B2B and B2B2C channels, in partnership with Digital Sales colleagues
- Training of the Zoetis sales team, equipping them with useful tools and resources to assist in winning business with customers
- Conducting and interpreting market research and analysing sales data to gather customer insights that will inform targeting, positioning and execution
- Participating in regular internal global forums to align with global strategies, localising as appropriate to optimise performance in the Australian market
The Dermatology Marketing Manager is also responsible for working closely with local Demand Planners and Supply Chain colleagues to provide accurate demand forecasts.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Marketing role. Animal health, human health, or consumer healthcare experience will be highly regarded.
- You must have the right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
- Sydney-based, with attendance at the Zoetis office in Rhodes a minimum of 3 days per week.
