Position Summary

To apply technical expertise and/or experiences to the design and execution of experiments/clinical trials in the development of veterinary vaccines. Show a high degree of independence in completing laboratory works/trials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the development of new and existing vaccines through membership in project teams, as appropriate to the role and required by the business.
  2. Actively contribute to team discussions.
  3. Perform experiments independently in the realm of virology and clinical trials.
  4. Write protocols, reports, and technical documents suitable for regulatory submission in a timely manner.
  5. May lead project team/sub-teams to develop and validate assays & manufacture processes
  6. Train/supervise junior staffs, such that they perform as expected
  7. Participate in the non-project activities to ensure compliance and smooth lab operation.

Requirements (if applicable)

  1. Attention to details; team player; good organizing skills and ability to communicate in English.
  2. Scientific expertise gained through either a Master degree in a relevant field (Virology, Veterinary Science, Immunology or other relevant disciplines) or several years of direct experiences in vaccine development.
  3. Ability to apply clinical and scientific knowledge to the design of experiments for veterinary vaccine development.
  4. Ability to collate and present study data.
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks of low to medium complexity.
  6. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel on occasional basis
