For our Dutch Ruminants team, located in Capelle a/d Ijssel, we are looking for a Business Manager Ruminants.


The Business Manager (BM) is tasked with running the Ruminant business in the Dutch market, capable of achieving stretching sales targets and market share growth. This role contributes to the overall success of Zoetis by leading a team that delivers and exceeds the ‘sales growth’ & ‘market share gain’ targets for the designated product lines. The BM is fully accountable for delivering results in the Dutch Ruminants market.

In your division, you plan for and manage the development of the marketing, technical and sales resources – including services– necessary for sustained business results. Important part of the task is to lead an area field force of Account Managers (AM) and Veterinary Consultants (AVM’s). The BM leads the execution of the business strategies and the developed marketing programmes with the sales team. In this role, he/she is required to maintain the customer relationships alongside the account managers, with the appropriate quantity & quality of activity. The BM leads the team to sell designated product lines to identified and agreed customers.

The BM works closely with other functions to deliver upon programmes and strategies – specifically, KAM, Comm Ops, Learning & Development, ….

Responsible for his/her team, the BM ensures a population of engaged and effective people work together to achieve the successful implementation of Precision Livestock Farming within the Zoetis continuum of care strategy to become the preferred partner of the industry in data analytics as part of the farm management.
